The most important thing to remember is to relax and enjoy the experience. My goal is to create a comfortable, stress-free environment where you can simply be yourself.
Before your session, we'll discuss your vision, ideas, style, and the overall look you're hoping to achieve. Wardrobe selection also plays a big role in creating cohesive, beautiful images. Choosing outfits that complement your location helps tell a stronger visual story—whether that's an urban downtown setting, a scenic park, or a rustic Texas landscape.
That's why I include a consultation before every session. Together, we'll plan the details so you arrive confident, prepared, and excited for your shoot.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
Travel is included for sessions within my local service area.
For destinations outside the local area, travel costs can vary depending on distance, fuel, lodging, or airfare when applicable. Rather than estimating a one-size-fits-all fee, I'll provide a personalized travel quote so you know exactly what to expect before booking.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Absolutely! I have a growing collection of carefully selected locations that photograph beautifully and complement a variety of portrait styles—from natural outdoor settings to modern urban environments.
If you already have a location in mind, I'd love to hear your ideas. During our consultation, we'll discuss whether it's the best fit for your vision and make sure it provides the look you're hoping to achieve.
What if the weather is bad on the day of an outdoor shoot?
Weather is one of the few things we can't control, but we'll always have a plan.
While some of the most dramatic and memorable photographs are created in light rain or under moody skies, your comfort and safety always come first. If severe weather, high winds, or unsafe conditions are expected, we'll simply reschedule your session at no additional charge.
Living in Texas means the forecast can change quickly, so we'll stay in communication leading up to your session and make the best decision together.
